The body of this sculpture is made from a wood mock of machine part created by Rietz Manufacturing Company in Santa Rosa in the 1930's. The body has been covered with copper scraps. The character details are created with a motorcycle cylinder, garden rake, reversed wooden chair legs, strips of brass tape for wind song, bicycle seat and handle bars.There is a small cloisonné vase for your incense and of course every self respecting bird has a hand woven African nest with a glass egg for good measure.
